WhatsApp Status ads

Turn a tap on your ad into a WhatsApp chat

Run ads in WhatsApp Status without opening Meta Ads Manager. One tap opens a chat with your business, with the customer's first message already typed, and NextReach follows every chat from the tap to the order.

Why it matters

Reach new customers
Show your offer in the Updates tab to people who don't have your number yet.
One tap to a chat
No forms and no website: the customer taps, and a WhatsApp chat with you opens with their message ready to send.
Your account, your spend
Ads run on your own Meta ad account, and Meta bills your payment method directly. NextReach never handles your ad spend.
From spend to sales
See what each ad cost, how many chats it started, and which of those people became leads and placed orders.

How it works

Connect Meta
Sign in with Facebook once, then choose your ad account and the Facebook Page linked to your WhatsApp number.
Build the ad
Add a picture or video, let AI write the text, choose who sees it and set the budget. The phone preview shows the ad as you go.
Launch and follow it
Meta reviews the ad before it shows. Then follow its results, and pause, resume or stop it whenever you like.

What you need

A Meta ad account with a payment method added. Meta charges it for your ad spend.
A Facebook Page linked to your WhatsApp Business number.
That WhatsApp number connected to NextReach.
A NextReach plan with WhatsApp Status ads switched on. It works together with WhatsApp Marketing.

Good to know

Meta shows Status ads together with Instagram Stories; it doesn't allow Status on its own. The same button opens WhatsApp in both.
Your NextReach plan is separate from your ad spend. Meta bills ad spend to your own ad account.
If you use contact groups, phone numbers and emails are hashed before they reach Meta, and opted-out contacts are never sent. A group needs at least 100 reachable contacts to become an audience.
Status ads depend on Meta's rollout in your country. Meta decides where and how often an ad shows, so reach, approval and results can't be promised.

What you can do

Connect your Meta ad account with one Facebook sign-in
AI writes the ad text, headline and message from a one-line brief
Picture or video; vertical 9:16 works best in Status
A message already typed for the customer to send
An optional instant reply when the chat starts
Countries, age and gender
Show the ad to contact groups, or keep it from them
Optionally reach people like your contacts
Daily or total budget, with start and end dates
A live phone preview, and the most it can spend before you launch
Meta's review status, with the reason if an ad is rejected
Pause, resume or stop at any time
Spend, reach, taps, chats and cost per chat, day by day
Every chat becomes a contact linked to its ad, followed to leads, orders and revenue

Common questions

No. Ads run on your own Meta ad account, and Meta charges your payment method directly. NextReach never collects or holds your ad spend. Your NextReach plan is billed separately.

Meta shows Status ads together with Instagram Stories and doesn't allow Status on its own. The button works the same way in both: it opens a WhatsApp chat with you.

Meta reviews every ad before it shows, usually within a day. NextReach shows the status – In review, Active or Rejected – and, if an ad is rejected, Meta's reason, so you can fix it and try again.

Only what's needed when you show an ad to a contact group or keep it from one. Phone numbers and emails are hashed before they leave NextReach, so no contact detail is sent in readable form, and opted-out contacts are never sent. When you stop the ad, the audiences made for it are removed from Meta.

Yes. Pause it and resume it later, or stop it for good. A stopped ad stops spending, and its results stay.
